Golden lotus insurance company limited, a subsidiary company under Golden Lotus Group in HK, was established and licensed as a general insurance in 2014.  

Following the massive infrastructure undergoing in Zambia on road development, electrical transmission & distribution, water supply, health care, we aim to provide a solution advised underwriting policy to both state-owned company and private sector. We focus our business on Contractors and Miner, Especially Bonds (bidding, performance, advance payment and money retention guarantee), motor, contractors risks,goods in transit/Marine,fire and group personal accident.

When we started the business in 2015, we implemented our fully self- designed IT system to monitor and manage motor insurance. Ever since 2016, we signed a reinsurance treaty with ZEP–Re, the re insurance group in the region. In August ,2016, the company built up partnership with China Ping An, Insurance Companies in China, making the milestone of growing and development to the company. Early 2017, we set up our new office in Chambishi Zambia–China cooperation Zone to expand our business and strengthen our market presence.  This is the testimony that we strive to build up long - term sustainable business in the market.   

After 5 years of operations, we have insured a number of key projects undergoing in Zambia from different departments in the government including Ministry of Health, Zesco, Road Development Agency, Ministry of Agriculture and Life Stock, Ministry of Local Government & Housing , Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company Limited and many others.We also insured three Mines under the China Non- ferrous Group , CCS, Luanshya, NFCA etc.
